TWENTY-SIX YEARS, THIRTEEN RESCUES, AND TWO HUMANS

$700.00

This painting is a warm and whimsical love letter to twenty-six years of cohabiting with my partner, Doug, and a cast of over thirteen rescued dogs, each adding their brand of chaos, charm, and enormous vet bills (for free dogs). It’s a mash-up of muddy paws and mountain trails, where my career as Miss Poop Dog Waste Guru (yes, really) and artist meets Doug’s noble efforts to hike with canines who think “heel” is just a suggestion. With humor and heart, it captures the joyful absurdity of a life built on dog hair, devotion, and the unshakable belief that love often comes with a leash—and occasionally a pooper scooper.
